If anybody played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video games back in the day, you'll know this one. What a classic.
If you had N64 when you were a kid, you had Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. One of the most popular games of its time, THPS brought music into gaming in a new way and paved the way for more gaming-music inclusion. While licensing songs for use in games was not new, THPS definitely allowed it to grow as bands clamored to get their music into games. I can remember playing these games and not knowing the songs. As I got older, I'd hear them online or from a friend and think "Man, that was in Tony Hawk, how do I still remember the words?" Proof that music in games really does stick in people's heads.
Check this one out for a throwback: Goldfinger - Superman
